BrokerTools is live

BrokerTools started as a desktop app for merging loss runs. Today, four tools — Blotter, Bordereaux, Runner, and Specimen — are live as web applications at morebroking.com.

The move to the web means no installation, no IT approval process, and no desktop compatibility issues. Open a URL, enter your email, and start working. The tools run in any modern browser on any device.

Each tool solves a specific problem that London brokers deal with regularly:

Blotter takes multiple loss runs in different formats (Excel, PDF, CSV, Word) and merges them into a single, clean spreadsheet. AI extracts and standardises the claims, matches duplicates across files, and flags data quality issues.

Bordereaux does the same for structured data reconciliation — extracting columns from documents, mapping them to a target schema, and highlighting discrepancies.

Runner helps prep submission documents by organising and validating the data brokers need to present to underwriters.

Specimen takes a policy wording or endorsement and extracts each section, explaining the coverage so you can review it faster.

All four use the same pay-per-use billing model. You see the exact cost before each operation, and you are invoiced monthly based on actual usage. New accounts receive free trial credit to get started.
